The most common method of stump removal is chemical decomposition.
If, however, you have been staring at that same stump in your yard for years, you know this method takes a little too long.
You can speed up decomposition by keeping moist soil on the stump or adding nitrogen fertilizer to the stump but at best,
this will only cut the decay time in half.

There are many products that claim to create rapid
stump decay but even the best products barely hasten the decay period. Another solution is to rent a stump routing machine.
These machines, however, can be dangerous to operate, if the operator is not properly trained. Never attempt to
use one of these machines without training and proper safety gear.
If neither of these methods seems appealing to you, let us come take care of those stumps
for you. When we are done that old ugly stump will be nothing but a little pile of mulch. We're not saying
mother nature can't do it. We just want to giver her a hand because she is old and kind of slow.
